Domaine Lamarche is family affair ran by sisters Nicole and Nathalie Lamarche who inherited the estate from their father François. Over several generations, the portfolio has been mastered to perfection with the production of 14 different wines including their monopole production: La Grand Rue. Many wines they produce are within the Vosne-Romanée district many of which being from famous Grand Cru sites. The domaine is considered top-tier among elite critics with their reputation being that they create wines through their terroir rather than power. Clive Coates (MW) once mentioned Lamarche as being one of his favorite Burgundies.
