Piada

Château Piada, operated by the Lalande family since the 18th century, is located in the Barsac appellation near Bordeaux. The 8.22 hectare estate maintains a traditional culture and winemaking, including pruning and harvesting by hand. The harvest and vinification at Château Piada are done with utmost greatest care. Once grapes have matured, they are left on the vine to accumulate Botrytis cinerea (noble rot), which gives Barsac and Sauternes wines their distinctively rich sweetness and golden-amber hue. Château Piada’s harvesters are experts at finding each individual best-preserved grape, ensuring exceptional quality from start to finish.
