The immensely impressive 1997 Chablis Vaillons exhibits a crystalline, pure nose of pears, minerals, and chalk. Medium-bodied, hugely flavorful, it is a rich, admirably delineated wine crammed with ripe mineral and fresh sea water flavors that linger throughout its exceedingly long finish.
