- The saturated ruby/purple-colored 2001 Cuvee Trois Cepages (equal parts Grenache, Syrah, and Mourvedre) displays a more tannic profile than Des Galets, with great delineation, as well as notes of smoke, melted licorice, and creme de cassis. Made in a firm, more cerebral, less hedonistic style than Des Galets, it requires 1-2 years of cellaring. Anticipated maturity: 2004-2012+.
