- Medium to deep garnet colored, the 2007 Cabernet Franc opens with an incredibly fragrant nose of kirsch, faded roses, dusty soil and cinnamon stick with nuances of dried lavender, sage, stewed black tea and yeast extract. Medium to full-bodied, the palate is still very spritely, with vibrant red and black fruit layers and a gentle herbal undercurrent, framed with fine-grained tannins and finishing with a refreshing lift.
