- The 2012 Syrah Altamont possesses striking minerality to balance some of the more overt Russian River opulence of the fruit. Graphite, smoke, slate, mint, wild flowers and licorice are some of the notes that inform this striking, nuanced Syrah. Sage, mint and smoke add layers of complexity on the close.

- The 2012 Syrah Altamont, from the hilltop portions of Dehlinger’s Syrah vineyards, offers a more opaque purple color, deep, meaty blackberry fruit, a touch of oak and a long finish. It should drink well for 10+ years.
