Hirsch`s 2013 Chardonnay Estate is absolutely gorgeous. Fresh, generous and super-inviting, the Chardonnay captures all of the nuance and pure pedigree of this magical site on the coast. Lemon peel, white flowers and mint are all strikingly delineated, but it is the wine`s texture and overall feel that elevate it into the echelon of the truly special. To be honest, I had a hard time moving on to the Pinots.
