- In addition to his single vineyard efforts, Tensley produces two special bottlings, both released only in Magnum and named after each of two kids. A blend of 75% Syrah and 25% Grenache (from Colson Canyon and Rodney’s Vineyard), the 2011 BMT is flat-out gorgeous with its brambly, complex bouquet of peppered meat, olive tapenade, underbrush, plum and wild flowers. Full-bodied, mouth-filling and voluptuously textured, it is a thrilling drink and will evolve gracefully for 10-12 years, most likely longer. Drink 2015-2023.
